Ambidextrous

Able to use both the right and left hands with equal dexterity.

Articulation

An area where two bones are attached for the purpose of motion of body parts. An articulation, or joint, is usually formed of fibrous connective tissue and cartilage.

A general term referring to a protrusion of a tissue through the wall of the cavity in which it is normally contained.

Ligament

A ligament is a tough band of connective tissue that connects various structures such as two bones.

Lumbar

Referring to the 5 lumbar vertebrae which are situated below the thoracic vertebrae and above the sacral vertebrae in the spinal column.

Muscle is the tissue of the body which primarily functions as a source of power.

Sprains

An injury to a ligament that results from overuse or trauma

Tennis Elbow

A painful injury to the tendon that is attached to the outer part of the elbow due to repetitive twisting of the wrist or forearm which causes irritation and inflammation of the extensor tendon. Any action that involves repetitive twisting of the wrist or forearm such as using a screwdriver can lead to this injury.
